ABB's Service Division partners with our customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability and sustainability of electrical products and installations. The Division’s extensive service portfolio offers product care, modernization, and advisory services to improve performance, extend equipment lifetime and deliver new levels of operational and sustainable efficiency. In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.

 

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed assigned targets for the service portfolio, focusing on baseline orders and big projects to achieve company KPIs.
• Start communication with customers and conduct on-site technical evaluations for customer Installed-base equipment (e.g., switchgear, circuit breakers, relays) to identify lifetime risks, upgrade opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Identify and qualify new leads and build an achievable pipeline with a good growth rate using the Salesforce platform.
• Internal collaboration with operations and engineering teams to identify service scope, technical specifications, and execution milestones.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate commercial quotations and technical proposals in compliance with company pricing guidelines.

Qualifications for the Role

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Typically 3-8 years of experience in Service Sales within a utility, Industrial, Commercial, Electrical, or manufacturing environment inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Technical Background/Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical power systems, including medium- and low-voltage equipment, automation, asset maintenance, and installed base management.
• Commercial Skills: Strong Presentation and Negotiation Skills, Contract management, proven records of negotiating and closing high-value service deals.
