Certified Medical Assistant - Bilingual Russian Required

We are seeking to add an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (Bilingual - Russian Required) to our team in Pikesville located in the Woodholme Medical Building at 1838 Greene Tree Road! Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a fast paced environment and provide excellent care and service to our patients.  The ability to speak Russian fluently  is required. 

Shift: Monday - Friday / Day Shift Totaling 37.5 (+) hours per week

**Requires flexibility - Must be available to work as early as 7:30am 

                                           Must be available to work on Tuesday evenings until 6:00pm 

The Medical Assistant will work closely with one of our healthcare providers in Internal Medicine.  Full Time candidates with proven EHR experience will have hands-on responsibilities with patients in a healthcare setting that offers enrichment and an opportunity for growth.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families.

The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including:

• Assistance during routine exams
• Recording a patient history and logging vital signs.
• Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results
• Entering lab / diagnostic test orders
• Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging
• Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.

Requirements:

*High School Diploma or G.E.D.

*Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.

*Excellent patient care and customer service skills.

*Minimum of 1 -2 years experience in Internal Medicine preferred.

**Must speak Russian fluently.

**Our ideal candidate will come to us registered Nationally as a Medical Assistant and experienced in Internal Medicine or Primary Care. 

**Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take a medical skill assessment.
