Standard Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.
Position Summary:
The HVAC Service Manager - Residential is responsible for overseeing and coordinating service operations across residential projects. This includes managing field staff, dispatching service calls, maintaining communication with clients, ensuring quality control, and supporting project profitability.
Position Responsibilities:
- Answers incoming calls and communications.
- Review tickets sent in by builders daily.
- Coordinates response and delivery of received information to field staff.
- Coordinate with admins on any permit/inspection requirements.
- Dispatches and deploys staff, vehicles, and/or units based on communications received.
- Maintains calm communication with and provides instruction to incoming callers.
- Coordinates with the builder(s) or homeowner (s) on scheduled work to be completed.
- Enter jobs into Job cost, set up customer information, enter initials into contracts and enter work to be completed into service management.
- Answer calls and emails regarding service and/or warranty questions.
- Maintain records on all service and warranty work.
- Enforce and oversee that all service technicians collect for services rendered (when applicable).
- Forward any builder responsible service invoice directly to the builder.
- Collect any outstanding service account receivables.
- Coordinate with team to ensure any service emergency is scheduled and properly handled.
- Coordinate with builders regarding items for installation such as lights, fixtures, and smoke detectors.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required: High School diploma or GED.
- Required: Valid driver’s license.
- Required: 8+ years relevant HVAC experience.
- Required: 2+ years of Supervisory experience
- Preferred: EPA Certification a plus.
- Preferred: New construction experience a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit at a desk and/or computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
