Job Summary
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
*Independently coordinates external marketing, communications, and public relations projects. Manages project timelines, vendor relationships, campaign execution, and deliverables while exercising independent judgment to resolve issues and meet deadlines. Develops, analyzes, and reports marketing metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and campaign performance reports to support departmental decision making and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications initiatives.
*Works with and supports internal customers in the implementation of department/program-specific marketing and public relations initiatives and materials to attract and grow the district’s patient base and to recruit prospective new employees. Ensures marketing materials meet internal customer needs and support overall brand strategy with respect to quality, consistency, cost effectiveness, and timing.
*Develops, writes, edits, and maintains professional communications and marketing materials including press releases, newsletters, brochures, presentations, talking points, video scripts, website content, advertisements, and social media content
. *Coordinates and maintains Summit Pacific’s social media presence by developing content, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, responding to inquiries as appropriate, and tracking performance metrics that support recruitment, community engagement, and organizational awareness.
*Coordinates public relations projects and develops collaborative relationships with vendors, internal stakeholders, and community partners to support approved marketing and communications initiatives. Assists with the development of press materials, media lists, communication assets, and project coordination in support of public relations activities as assigned.
*Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
*Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. *Two to five years of directly related professional-level work experience coordinating marketing programs, public relations activities, professional writing, project management, digital communications, and social media management. *Healthcare experience preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
*Broad working knowledge and understanding of communications, marketing methods and tools.
* Working knowledge of and experience with various social media outlets including Facebook, X, Instagram, and LinkedIn, as well as mass email dissemination software.
*Demonstrated project management skills and experience developing and implementing successful marketing/communication projects and campaigns. *Advanced writing, editing, and graphic design skills. Ability to write and develop professional marketing materials including articles, press releases, brochures, and web pages.
*Excellent verbal communication and professional presentation skills including the ability to publicly articulate the position and agenda of the district and be comfortable presenting to both small and large crowd.
*Advanced knowledge of marketing analytics, website analytics, social media insights, KPI reporting, and dashboard development.
*Ability to cultivate effective relationships and work in collaboration with providers, other health care professionals, caregivers, patients/customers/community members, and vendors.
*Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in sensitive or stressful situations; ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Ability to cultivate effective partnerships and work in collaboration with internal and external customers/partners. Fully proficient in the use of current technology, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), Adobe Creative Cloud (illustrator, InDesign, Audition, and Premiere Pro), and WordPress.
*Ability to learn, adapt to, and effectively use a variety of computer systems and basic office equipment in an efficient and productive manner, as required. *Ability to develop effective and efficient processes and protocols and to maintain accurate documentation and records
*Ability to work proactively and independently, anticipating needs and performing a wide variety of assignments that require judgment, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional long hours and night/weekend commitments.
