Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
