In this position...

We are the movers of the world and the makers of the future. We get up every day, roll up our sleeves, and build a better world—together. At Ford, we’re all part of something bigger than ourselves. What will you make today?

What you'll do...

  • Lead the design, implementation, and execution of the organization’s HR strategy and overall HR program delivery, spanning organization design, talent and workforce planning, and all company and organization HR objectives.
  • Drive the organization and HR strategy toward a culture of excellence; prepare leaders and teams to embrace organizational change; and collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure employees are engaged and inspired to deliver results in a dynamic, challenging environment.
  • Consult with senior business leaders to enhance organizational design & effectiveness, as well as drive employee engagement.
  • Translate company-wide objectives and initiatives into tailored strategies that meet the specific needs of the organization, technical leaders, and employees.
  • Lead large-scale change management planning and execution impacting hundreds to thousands of employees. Implement organizational structures that improve individual and organizational performance, including during periods of rapid change, while minimizing business disruption.
  • Develop and implement organization-specific people and workforce plans and roadmaps that align talent with business needs. Drives strategies to attract, engage, and retain world-class talent to support business growth.
  • Own accountability for execution of the talent management lifecycle including talent acquisition, talent integration, performance management, total rewards management, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Based on business priorities and organizational requirements, this role may include people leadership responsibility to a team of HR Business Partners.

You’ll have...

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree or 10 years with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
  • People leadership experience, including direct management of Human Resources team members
  • A record of establishing trust and credibility quickly with leaders and stakeholders at all levels
  • An ability to influence, challenge, and partner effectively across the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Data and analytics skills, quantitative reasoning, and data storytelling expertise to inform decisions and drive outcomes
  • A demonstrated track record of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • An action-oriented, persistent, and courageous outlook when navigating complex situations
  • Willingness to work in person at Ford’s Dearborn, MI headquarters at least four days per week
  • A Proven track record of strong HR Business Partnership with experience in organizational design, talent management, and leading transformation.
  • Strong emotional resilience in the face of change and challenge

Even better, you may have...

  • Prior experience supporting a team with creative leaders.

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home?
