Description
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help us operate and continuously improve our modern software delivery environment.
The role is primarily focused on GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitHub Actions, CI/CD automation, self-hosted runners, and developer tooling. You will work closely with application development and AI teams and help improve how software and AI solutions are built, tested, secured, deployed, and operated.
You will join a team that actively adopts modern technologies and uses AI across software development, code review, automation, security, and engineering productivity.
You do not need to be an expert in every area from day one. We welcome both experienced specialists and engineers with strong hands-on experience, solid fundamentals, and the motivation to grow.
What You Will Do
Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
Create reusable workflows, templates, and automation for development teams.
Operate and improve self-hosted GitHub Actions runners.
Support developers with builds, testing, releases, deployments, and pipeline troubleshooting.
Administer and improve GitHub Enterprise Cloud, including permissions, integrations, policies, and repository standards.
Work with tools such as GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and CodeRabbit.
Help introduce AI and automation into software development and delivery processes.
Improve the reliability, security, performance, and developer experience of our engineering platform.
Support and operate selected infrastructure components required by our AI and engineering teams, such as Azure Kubernetes Service, databases, key vaults, networking, and related cloud services.
Help provision and automate infrastructure needed for new internal tools, AI solutions, CI/CD integrations, and platform services.
What We Are Looking For
Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines in a software development environment.
Experience with GitHub Actions or another modern CI/CD platform.
Good understanding of Git, pull requests, application builds, testing, and deployments.
Practical experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot application code, scripts, workflow definitions, and configuration files.
Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or a similar language.
Practical understanding of Docker and modern DevOps principles.
General understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, access management, and secrets management.
Strong problem-solving skills and the willingness to learn, collaborate, and take ownership.
Nice to Have
Experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud or self-hosted GitHub Actions runners.
Knowledge of GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub Copilot, Claude, CodeRabbit, or similar tools.
Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service.
Experience working with cloud databases, Azure Key Vault, networking, managed identities, or similar platform services.
Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or another Infrastructure as Code technology.
Understanding of cloud security, APIs, observability, and software supply chain security.
Why Join Us
You will work with modern DevOps, cloud, security, and AI technologies in an environment where automation, experimentation, and continuous improvement are actively encouraged.
This is an opportunity to influence how development and AI teams work, improve engineering productivity, and take broader ownership of our GitHub, CI/CD, and supporting cloud infrastructure over time.
The salary range for this role is €3,000–€4,000 gross per month.
