We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-Time Insurance Bookkeeper to join our team. If you have a knack for numbers and a passion for accuracy, we want to hear from you!
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts receivable.
- Reconcile client invoices, and payments.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly/quarterly/annual closings.
- Maintain accurate records of premiums, and policy-related transactions.
- Collaborate with the insurance team to ensure accurate financial data tracking.
- Assist with audits and compliance requirements specific to the insurance industry.
- Utilize accounting software to manage and streamline bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist agency in implementing Artificial Intelligence “AI” practices.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proficiency in Excel. Applied EPIC experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and insurance-related financial processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
- Certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus.
