Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security at a Cosmetics Company in Somerset, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access credentials, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet systems, you will help maintain an orderly environment while responding to alarms and supporting site procedures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a front desk within a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and delivery activity; verify credentials; issue badges or passes; and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Answer and direct telephone calls, provide site information, and communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and authorized vendors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and access-related activity in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
