Position Overview

The Group Product Manager, ZAIDYN is a product leadership role based in ZS's India offices, accountable for turning the ZAIDYN roadmap into shipped, high-quality outcomes in close partnership with product strategy leadership. You will guide a group of Product Managers and Product Owners against a defined roadmap, own the execution engine (planning, sequencing, dependency management, release governance) for the assigned product area, and be the connective tissue between global product strategy leaders, engineering, UX, QA and professional services.

Roadmap strategy and prioritization are shaped in close partnership with product leadership — you bring delivery realities, technical constraints and customer signal into that conversation. You'll also grow a strong bench of delivery-oriented product talent within the India team. The ideal candidate has built enterprise SaaS products, has strong fluency in modern AI/LLM concepts (including agentic workflows and evaluation), and can translate complex technical and compliance constraints into clear requirements, simple experiences, and delivery plans.

What You'll Do

Own roadmap delivery end-to-end

• Convert the agreed ZAIDYN product roadmap into a realistic, sequenced delivery plan across quarters, releases and sprints
• Break down roadmap themes into well-defined epics, user stories and acceptance criteria in partnership with engineering and design
• Track delivery against plan, proactively surface risks, slippage and scope trade-offs, and re-baseline plans when priorities shift
• Co-Own release governance for the product area — release readiness, go/no-go calls, and post-release quality tracking

 

Lead a team of delivery-focused product managers

• Manage, coach and grow a group of Product Managers, Product Owners and Business Analysts, setting clear goals and creating pathways for their development
• Model a delivery-focused, quality-first culture in how the team operates day to day to build product that is loved by the user and creates targeted value.
• Build organizational muscle in execution discipline — backlog hygiene, sprint planning, dependency mapping, KPI metrics and status reporting 
• Coach the team on effective, responsible use of AI tools to improve PM throughput without compromising quality or compliance

Coordinate execution across pods and functions

• Partner daily with engineering, QA, UX and architecture leads across multiple delivery pods to keep work unblocked and moving
• Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies before they become delivery risks
• Define and track delivery health metrics (velocity, predictability, defect leakage, cycle time) and hold pods accountable to them

Partner on product strategy & Customer Success

• Partner with Product Strategy leaders to refine roadmap priorities based on delivery realities, technical constraints, customer commitments and emerging opportunities
• Communicate delivery status, risks and trade-offs clearly and proactively to global stakeholders and leadership, with minimal hand-holding
• Represent the product organization in cross-functional planning, and release forums
• Participate in selected customer roadmap reviews, advisory boards, and client feedback sessions to ensure roadmap execution remains aligned with customer value and market needs
• Work with GTM, Professional Services and Customer success teams to drive rollout, enablement, and adoption

Strengthen the delivery engine

• Identify recurring delivery bottlenecks and drive process improvements (tooling, ceremonies, handoffs) to improve throughput and predictability
• Stay current on relevant technology (including agentic AI capabilities being built into ZAIDYN) to make informed delivery trade-offs
• Scope, sequence and de-risk AI-driven (agentic AI) features on the roadmap alongside engineering, accounting for model behavior variability and human-in-the-loop review requirements in a life sciences context
• Use generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate day-to-day delivery work — drafting specs and user stories, synthesizing stakeholder feedback, and generating status reports and release notes
• Contribute to building repeatable playbooks for how roadmap-to-release execution runs across the India product organization

 

What you’ll bring: 

 

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus
• 12–15+ years of product management/delivery experience, including demonstrated experience managing other product managers or product owners
• Strong track record of driving SaaS/platform roadmap execution end-to-end — sprint planning, release management, cross-team dependency resolution — in a multi-pod, multi-region delivery environment
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and associated tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated-industry domain exposure preferred, but strong delivery discipline in any enterprise SaaS context will be considered
• Comfort managing ambiguity and shifting priorities across multiple concurrent delivery streams
• Demonstrated ability to operate as the execution counterpart to strategy leadership based in a different region/time zone, with strong async and cross-time-zone communication habits
• Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills — able to synthesize input across stakeholders, write a one-line description, a one-pager, and present a concept live with a clear narrative
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-powered products, including agentic workflows, prompt and tool orchestration, evaluation and monitoring, and safety guardrails
