Video Producer

Under the direction of the Senior Associate A.D./Executive Producer, Production, the Video Producer is responsible for the planning, production, and execution of cinematic storytelling, promotional campaigns, and in-venue videoboard productions that enhance the visibility and brand of UCF Athletics. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide creative vision for various athletics productions, including cinematic productions such as game opens, player intros, get-to-knows, content series, promotional videos, and commercials.
• Work in a highly collaborative fashion with all external staff (athletic teams, live production, #Content, strategic communications, brand advancement) in the creation, planning, and execution of video content for various media distribution.
• Logistically plan for and produce stories / feature content against time sensitive deadlines.
• Coordinate shooting and acquisition of interviews and additional asset materials.
• Produce, coordinate, and execute recordings of interviews and asset sets to include directing, set-up, lighting, sound, and camera operations.
• Responsible planning and development of in-venue shows for videoboards for Football, Volleyball, Basketball (M&W), and Baseball
• Working with sponsors to develop and create sponsored content for in-venue.
• Provide supervision, scheduling, training and logistical support to student staff and contracted vendors where appropriate, to include, but not limited to, providing substantial input into the hiring, termination, or other changes of employment status of student support staff, as well as the identification and selection and payment of appropriate vendors related to area of assignment.
• Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of appropriate experience.
• Appropriate graduate coursework and master's degree may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• A strong proficiency in Premiere Pro and a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Passion for sports / college athletics, a team-player mentality, and strong attention to detail and communication (written/verbal) skills. 

 

Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time and occasional travel.
