Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Incident Intake in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor communications and alarm activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and maintain clear, professional communication with tenants, visitors, and team members. Your visible support and attention to detail help deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, maintenance concerns, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communication systems, access activity, and available surveillance or alarm systems; document events and maintain accurate dispatch logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
