A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Project Manager reporting to the Executive Manager, Field Services. 

A bit about your role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex transformation initiatives across multiple business units, helping to turn strategic priorities into meaningful outcomes. You will be responsible for the development, coordination and successful delivery of projects from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and aligned to business objectives. 

Working collaboratively across nbn, you will bring together diverse stakeholders to create a clear view of cross-functional processes, identify opportunities for improvement and deliver capabilities that enhance operational performance. You will oversee project planning, governance, risk and issue management, change management and reporting, while ensuring delivery remains aligned with PMO frameworks and quality standards. 

In this role, you will influence decision-making at senior leadership levels, build alignment across complex environments and support the successful delivery of multiple workstreams. You will also prepare high-quality governance materials and executive-level communications, providing clear insight into project progress, risks, dependencies and outcomes. Through your leadership, you will help drive tangible improvements that enable Field Services and the broader organisation to achieve their goals. 

A bit about you

You are an experienced project professional with a proven track record leading large-scale business transformation, business improvement or technology-enabled programs within complex organisations. You bring strong project management expertise, supported by recognised project management qualifications, and have successfully delivered outcomes through cross-functional teams in dynamic and evolving environments. 

You are a collaborative and inclusive leader who builds trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from delivery teams through to executive leaders. Your ability to communicate clearly, influence outcomes and bring people together enables you to navigate competing priorities while maintaining focus on shared goals. You are comfortable working with ambiguity, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, and guiding teams through change with confidence and empathy. 

With strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and a solutions-focused mindset, you are skilled at balancing strategic objectives with practical delivery requirements. Your ability to simplify complexity, foster engagement and create momentum across diverse stakeholder groups will ensure you make a meaningful contribution to nbn’s transformation journey and continued success.
