Where You'll Make a Difference
Perform microbiological analyses of raw materials and finished products following approved testing procedures.
Support the daily workflow and testing activities within the microbiology laboratory.
Verify laboratory equipment performance and perform minor maintenance as assigned.
Prepare reagents, media, and laboratory supplies to support testing operations.
Ensure retained samples are properly identified, documented, and stored.
Utilize aseptic techniques and maintain laboratory best practices.
Enter, retrieve, and maintain testing data using laboratory systems and Microsoft Excel.
Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards and support sanitation schedule completion.
Promote safety, food safety, and quality compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Associate degree or higher in a science-related field, or 3+ years of experience working as a laboratory analyst or laboratory technician.
Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) or equivalent data management systems.
Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
Willingness to wear required PPE, including steel-toe shoes, hard hat, hearing protection, and safety eyewear.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling.
Ability to climb stairs and work in industrial production environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety standards.

Previous microbiology laboratory experience within the food, ingredients, or manufacturing industry.
Experience supporting quality control programs in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of microbiological testing methods, aseptic techniques, and laboratory best practices.
