General Description:

This role has a hybrid work pattern 3 days a week in our Warsaw office and 2 days remote.

We are looking for an experienced RTR Supervisor to join our newly created Shared Service Centre in Warsaw Poland with a strong background in General Ledger end-to-end accounting. This is a key position for an experienced, ambitious finance professional who is motivated to contribute to setting up the regional finance function as BeOne Medicines builds out its presence around the world. The position will deal with a broad range of accounting topics across various countries. The incumbent must bring strong US GAAP and local GAAP knowledge, combined with hands-on experience with SAP (4HANA a strong plus). Strong communication and cultural awareness and sensitivity are required to coordinate activities across multiple geographies and collaborate with colleagues in the US, Europe, and Asia. As a valuable resource to the organization the incumbent is proactive and brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and high growth environment in a hybrid work model.

At Associate Manager level, this role is also expected to oversee day-to-day RTR delivery for assigned entities, provide guidance and review support to junior team members and/or third-party providers, act as an escalation point for complex accounting and close matters, and drive consistent execution of controls, process improvements, and stakeholder coordination across the regional finance organization.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for assigned entities and ensure overall compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
  • Prepare, post, review, and approve general ledger journal entries and supporting documentation within close deadlines.
  • Manage account reconciliations (including payroll), investigate reconciling items, and resolve open or overdue balances.
  • Review and challenge the quality of account reconciliations, journal entries, fluctuation analyses, and supporting documentation prepared by team members or service providers.
  • Coordinate close schedules, account analyses, fluctuation explanations, and statutory financial statement inputs with third-party provider support.
  • Execute SOX controls to ensure SOX compliance and strong governance.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and timely follow-up.
  • Use SAP S/4HANA and related finance systems to research transactions, validate postings, and extract reports.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Procurement, and other stakeholders to obtain inputs and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
  • Support transitions, system changes, and process improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Ad hoc requests support related to General Accounting
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of RTR close activities for assigned entities, including prioritization, status tracking, issue resolution, and escalation of risks or delays.
  • Act as a subject-matter escalation point for complex General Ledger, SOX control, audit, statutory reporting, and cross-functional accounting topics.
  • Coach, guide, and support junior RTR team members and/or third-party provider teams by clarifying priorities, sharing technical knowledge, and ensuring consistent execution standards.
  • Lead or actively drive process standardization, transition stabilization, system adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen scalability, accuracy, and control discipline within the SSC environment.

Computer Skills:   

  • SAP knowledge required S/4 Hana, Blackline, Excel, Workday, online banking, other procurement software.

Other Qualifications:   

  • Accounting/Business/Finance Bachelor's degree with 4 years of GL experience from a multinational finance environment (Big 4 and/or healthcare experience a plus).
  • Experience in transitions of a GL process into an SSC/GBS
  • Willingness to execute daily transactional accounting tasks; desire to work in a fast-paced, changing (currently unstructured) environment in a hybrid work model.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with cultural sensitivity.
  • Excellent spoken/written English; other languages are an asset

Travel: Minimal

Salary Range Poland: 146,800 - 183,500 PLN
