HGA is expanding its East Coast Interior Design practice and is looking for an Interior Designer to join our Boston studio.

In this role you will:
- Work with Architects and Interior Designers to establish the design concept by translating programming requirements into design solutions that enhance the user experience and meet the project goals.
- Prepare plans, renderings, sketches, or other visual aids for design presentations.
- Research, select, and specify materials to support design goals and project’s technical requirements.
- Work on a wide variety of project types and scales. Versatility to adapt to a variety of collaborative design team settings is necessary.
- Perform technical aspects of the interior design process from project setup through to construction administration.
- Assist with Furniture planning, design and specification.
- Develop Artwork and Environmental Graphics concepts.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited program.
- 6 - 10 years of professional experience in interior design, including prior Project Management experience.
- NCIDQ or CID accreditation preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit required; Experience with SketchUp, Enscape desired.
- Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; Adobe Creative Suite desired.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, attention to detail and motivation to learn.
- Collaborative and professional work ethic.
- Ability to take initiative and work both in a team environment and as an individual.
- Attention to detail, organization skills and an ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Salary Information:
The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $86,000 - $110,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
