Registered Nurse - ICU | The Wesley Hospital
 

Employment Type: Multiple Permanent Part Time and Full Time opportunities are available, with Part Time positions offering a minimum of 24 hours per week
Remuneration: $42.50 - $54.62 p/h + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

Location: located in the peaceful surrounds of Auchenflower, The Wesley Hospital is just 5 mins from Toowong Shopping Village and 10 mins from Brisbane City

Your part in The Wesley Hospital team

As an Intensive Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care to critically ill and complex patients within a dynamic and supportive ICU environment.

You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills. 

What makes a difference for us?

  • A minimum of two years' recent Intensive Care nursing experience.
  • Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience caring for critically ill or unstable adult patients within an ICU setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, compassionate patient care.
  • Availability to work across a fortnightly rotating roster
  • Full Australian Working Rights (please note that sponsorship is not available for this position at this time).
  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
