The ‘Product Owner - Enriched Customer Inventory’ supports the Head of Master Data Management in defining, delivering and managing a global solution for managing the enriched customer inventory, including processes, data structure and quality, and functional roadmap.
The scope of Enriched Customer Inventory includes data taken from the Federated Customer Inventory (offers, services, resources) and data taken from other referential and transactional sources to provide a single source of truth for actors, customers and systems requiring detailed near real time inventory data (for example customer portal, customer API, service management systems)
This role is part of a small core team responsible for the Customer Inventory at the heart of the Orange Business digital customer & employee journey strategy. It is a marketing-orientated role, ensuring we hold and exploit the right data at the right quality to deliver operational efficiency, customer journey, commercial advantage, and therefore both customer experiecne excellence and business growth.

Strategy & Roadmap
- Work with the Customer Inventory team (business, IT, architecture) on the creation, maintenance and communication of the inventory strategy and functional roadmap.
- Use SAFe methodology to secure delivery of the roadmap though management of Epics in the DataAI portfolio.
- Be recognized as the business expert on enriched customer inventory, supporting other teams, projects and portfolios in the correct understanding and exploitation of this data.
- Engage with commercial process owners and business stakeholders in International / DGC / DEF and other BUs as required to ensure a global approach to enriched inventory management, and to collect & prioritize user story requirements for functional & process enhancements to the enriched inventory.
- Use SAFe methodology to secure delivery of the roadmap though management of Epics in the DataAI portfolio.
- Provide leadership to IT teams to develop & deliver in line with business needs, setting business priorities and securing budgetary cover, reviewing, tracking and reporting on progress vs plan.
Data Model
- Define, document and manage the data model of enriched customer inventory, working with gata governance team to use Collibra data management system.
- Ensure data model is clear and available to all stakeholders, and support them in underdstanding oit to ensure correct usage.
Data Quality
- Responsible for optimizing the quality of enriched customer inventory data by maximizing the quality of the input data and the mapping / linking of the data sets by working closely with other members of the inventory team.
- Work with the Data Quality team to identify KPIs and monitor & report the quality (accuracy & completeness) of enriched customer inventory; lead activity to correct any errors and fix the root cause of any identified issues (whether process or technical).
Value-based exploitation
- Responsible for providing users with easy and clear access to relevant enriched customer inventory data, whether as individial records or as bulk reporting, via API, portal, EDH, PowerBI or other mechanisms.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate access controls to enriched inventory data, complying with regulatory, security & confidentiality requirements while maximizing democratization to facilitate delivery of value.
- Drive integration with all systems that require the data (directly or via tools such as eBus, EDH, etc) to maximise exploitation for value delivery.
