P3SUMMARY:
The Senior Finance Analyst serves as a key business partner to the Fresh Meats organization, supporting both Beef and Pork operations through financial analysis, data analytics, reporting, and decision support. This role is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive operational performance, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making across the business.
The position partners closely with Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Finance leadership to deliver timely analysis, ad hoc reporting, forecasting support, and performance insights. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, advanced data management skills, and the ability to communicate financial and operational insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key responsibilities include developing automated reporting and dashboards, analyzing business performance and profitability drivers, supporting forecasting and planning processes, responding to executive and operational ad hoc requests, identifying trends and opportunities, and ensuring the integrity of financial and operational data. This role also supports internal controls and compliance requirements while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency through technology and analytics.
The ideal candidate is highly curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large, complex datasets. They must be able to independently identify issues, perform root-cause analysis, work with stakeholders to provide actionable recommendations, and effectively communicate findings to leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. MBA preferred
Experience: 3-5 years experience in Finance, previous Beef and Pork experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills. Must possess the ability to streamline internal processes along with having strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders
Computer Skills: Strong excel and data analytics-based skills required including experience with successfully working with large data sets. Experience with SAP Financial applications a plus.
