$225,000.00/Yr. - $275,000.00/Yr.Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

About This Job
The Senior Vice President, Head of Specialty Deposits is responsible for leading the Bank's national specialty deposits business, driving deposit growth, optimizing cost of funds, and expanding market share across specialized industry verticals. This executive leader oversees strategy, sales execution, portfolio performance, talent development, pricing, and strategic partnerships while ensuring strong risk management and operational discipline.The SVP serves as the business leader for specialty deposit verticals including Title & Escrow, 1031 Exchange, Fintech, Third-Party Payment Providers, Real Estate Management Banking, Waste Management, and Senior Housing. The role partners closely with Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and executive leadership to deliver sustainable growth, profitability, and client retention.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Bank's specialty deposits business and develop strategies to drive growth, profitability, and portfolio diversification across multiple industry verticals
- Establish and execute annual business plans, sales objectives, deposit growth targets, and performance metrics
- Provide leadership and oversight for specialty deposit teams, including recruiting, coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management
- Direct portfolio management activities to optimize deposit growth, client retention, profitability, and funding stability
- Develop and execute pricing and cost-of-funds strategies, including oversight of deposit pricing and Earnings Credit Rate (ECR) management
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand into new specialty deposit markets and business segments
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, industry partners, technology providers, and referral sources to support business growth and market presence
- Represent the Bank at industry conferences, client events, and business development activities
- Partner with Treasury Management, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives and ensure operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, risk management, BSA/AML, and operational requirements applicable to the specialty deposits business
- Provide regular business reporting, forecasting, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of experience in commercial banking, specialty deposits, treasury management, commercial payments, or related financial services
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience managing deposit-focused business lines, sales teams, or commercial banking organizations
- Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies, building high-performing teams, and delivering meaningful deposit growth
- Deep knowledge of specialty deposits, treasury management products, deposit pricing, liquidity management, and commercial banking services
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and operational controls related to deposit-based businesses
- Proven ability to establish and maintain executive-level client, partner, and industry relationships
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Experience serving specialty industries such as Title & Escrow, 1031 Exchange, Fintech, Payments, Property Management, Senior Housing, Waste Management, or similar commercial banking verticals preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex portfolios, lead organizational change, and drive business performance in a fast-paced environment
