To drive this, we are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to shape and deliver communications that engage our workforce, strengthen organisational alignment, and bring our strategic priorities to life across a large and diverse business.

 

Reporting to the Executive Manager – Communications and Change, you will work closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation to develop impactful communication plans, create engaging content, enhance our communication channels and support initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and connection.

What you'll be doing:

 

As the Internal Communications Manager, you will:

 

• Develop and deliver communication strategies and campaigns that connect employees to our business priorities and culture.
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders to shape messaging and support key organisational initiatives.
• Develop executive and leadership communications that build visibility, alignment and engagement across the organisation.
• Create engaging content across a range of channels including digital, video, presentations and leadership communications.
• Manage and optimise internal communication platforms and strategies to enhance the employee experience.
• Lead communications and engagement support for internal events such as employee roadshows and strategic business initiatives.
• Use feedback, analytics and employee insights to measure effectiveness and continuously improve communication outcomes.

 

What you'll bring:

 

• Minimum 6 years' experience in an internal communications lead role, within a large, diverse organisation, delivering impactful communication and engagement initiatives.

• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information into clear and engaging messages.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels.
• Experience developing communication strategies, campaigns and change communications across multiple channels.
• A collaborative, customer-focused approach with excellent planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to use data, feedback and audience insights to drive engagement and communication effectiveness.
