Responsibilities

Drive inventory accuracy of raw and finished goods while meeting customer expectations through high level delivery. Direct staffing to exceed KPI’s, utilizing active problem solving to eliminate all gaps within warehouse processes.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure the safety of each warehouse employee through the utilization of harnesses, forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.
• Provide problem solving solutions to opportunities that arise with Safety/Quality/Delivery/Inventory/Productivity.
• Drive performance by collaborating with production and customer service departments to achieve 95% on time delivery.
• Supervise the receiving and storing of material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies while maintaining a cycle count accuracy of 98%.
• Ensure inspections of incoming material are performed for supplier quality compliance.
• Direct the planning and assignment of work for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years supervisory or lead experience.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and problem-solve in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• PC Proficient using Microsoft Office packages.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse experience preferred.

 

Physical/Mental Demands:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to lift, move, and manage materials, tools, and controls. The employee is regularly required to use paper and a pen, pencil and/or keyboard to read and record data. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, walk, or climb with legs and talk or hear. The employee is consistently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or more up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The physical and mental requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

 

 

 

Working Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, it can be loud for periods of time while working near equipment which is in operation.  Hearing protection and safety glasses may be required. Employee must be able to hear fork truck horn. The employee must be able to work alone on a fork truck for extended periods of time.  The employee must also be able to work with others as required.
