## Position Summary
The Senior IT Infrastructure Program Manager is responsible for driving large, complex, and high-impact infrastructure programs across Network, Platform & Hosting, Cloud, and enterprise IT environments. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, providing strategic direction, solving complex challenges, and leading multi-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
At this level, the role requires deep expertise, ability to lead complex programs, influence stakeholders, and identify innovative solutions to business and technology challenges.
## Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Strategy Execution
- Lead large-scale, complex infrastructure programs (e.g., data center transformation, cloud strategy execution, network modernization, MSP transition)
- Define program roadmap, milestones, financials, and success metrics aligned to business strategy
- Manage multiple interdependent projects across infrastructure towers (Network, Platform, Security, EUC, Service Desk)
- Drive alignment between IT strategy and execution, ensuring measurable business outcomes
Governance & Executive Engagement
- Establish and lead program governance, including steering committees, executive reviews, and decision forums
- Provide concise, data-driven updates to senior leadership (CIO, ELT)
- Drive decision-making across competing priorities and complex stakeholder environments
Delivery Excellence & Methodology Leadership
- Define and standardize delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, Waterfall) for infrastructure programs
- Lead Agile at scale (program-level backlog, release planning, PI planning where applicable)
- Ensure robust use of ServiceNow (PPM/ITSM) for demand intake, execution tracking, reporting, and governance
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor delivery performance and value realization
Risk, Dependency & Issue Management
- Lead resolution of highly complex, cross-functional risks and dependencies
- Anticipate risks proactively and implement program-level mitigation strategies
- Manage multi-vendor, multi-tower dependencies and contractual deliverables (MSP/vendor ecosystem)
Operational Integration & Transformation
- Ensure seamless transition of programs into steady-state IT operations
- Drive process integration with ITIL functions (change, release, incident management)
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and embed best practices across delivery teams
Leadership & Influence
- Lead cross-functional program teams and influence without direct authority
- Mentor senior project managers and drive PMO capability maturity
- Foster collaboration between business, IT, and external partners/vendors
## Required Skills
- Extensive experience leading large-scale IT infrastructure programs (Network, Platform, Hosting, Cloud)
- Strong expertise in Agile (Scaled Agile), Scrum, and traditional program delivery
- Deep working knowledge of ServiceNow (PPM/ITSM) and enterprise PM tooling
- Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, cloud, and transformation initiatives
- Proven ability to manage multi-vendor, outsourcing (MSP), and transformation programs
- Excellent executive communication, stakeholder alignment, and influencing skills

## Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 12–15+ years of experience in IT project/program management, with strong focus on infrastructure transformation
- PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe / Agile certifications (preferred)
Nice To Have
- Experience in large-scale outsourcing (MSP) transitions and vendor governance
- Exposure to enterprise cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid architectures
- Strong understanding of financial management (TCO, budgeting, cost optimization in infrastructure programs).
