Product Owner Consultant

Mission Overview:

The Product Owner consultancy mission is offered by Keystone Solutions for a client in the financial sector. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will represent our values and expertise while working on-site within the Marketing & Communication department, focusing on business clients and strategic projects.

Responsibilities:

• Capture marketing and communication needs from stakeholders and translate the annual MarCom plan into a squad backlog, collaborating closely with cluster leads and strategists.
• Prioritize backlog items based on customer needs, strategic and commercial objectives, and other relevant factors, making necessary decisions in cases of conflicting interests, limited resources, or tight deadlines.
• Ensure objectives are clear and stable before the squad initiates MarCom initiatives.
• Monitor backlog, progress, speed, and performance of the team, ensuring adequate allocation of resources according to priorities.
• Conduct regular business reviews to learn from achievements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with other product owners and strategists to realize flagship projects.
• Act as a leadership profile within the cluster, representing the squad/cluster in meetings and proactively shaping the way of working and trajectory.

Language Requirements:

• Professional knowledge of Dutch
• Professional knowledge of French
• Sound knowledge of English and at least one local language

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor and/or master degree
• Agile certification is a plus

Work Arrangement:

• 50% on-site, 50% homeworking

Required Experience & Knowledge:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience
• Technical experience (mandatory): Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint
• Technical experience (preferable): Adobe Campaign, Workfront, Wrike
• Business experience (mandatory): Knowledge of professional clients scope/banking products/business line, experience working with IT teams (preferably app development), expertise in agile/scrum/kanban methodologies, experience with change management
• Business experience (preferable): Knowledge of the BNPP group, experience working with senior management, experience in marketing/communication, experience with design thinking
• Soft skills: Strategic thinking, analytical mind, negotiation and persuasion, people skills, quality-minded, goal-oriented, open to change, servant leadership
