Overview

We are looking for an HR & Payroll Administrator to join our Shared Service Center team in Belgrade.

This role combines payroll operations with HR administration and offers an opportunity to work closely with the HR & Payroll Manager, supporting accurate and timely payroll delivery while contributing to continuous process improvement.

We are seeking a hands-on professional who enjoys working with data, numbers, controls and processes. Payroll will be the primary focus of the role, while the HR scope will mainly cover administrative activities across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Payroll Operations (Primary Focus)

• Support monthly payroll preparation, input collection and validation activities
• Review payroll-relevant data, including employee changes, absences, overtime, bonuses, new hires and terminations
• Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders
• Perform payroll controls, data checks and month-on-month variance reviews
• Support payroll reporting, reconciliation and approval preparation
• Maintain complete payroll documentation and audit evidence
• Participate in payroll process improvement and standardization initiatives

HR Administration

• Prepare and maintain HR documentation and employee records
• Support onboarding and offboarding administration
• Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems
• Support leave administration and regular HR reporting
• Respond to routine employee and manager queries related to HR administration

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in payroll processing, payroll administration or payroll support
• Working knowledge of payroll principles and employee-related calculations
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with structured data
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities
• Collaborative communication style and a strong sense of confidentiality
• Good command of English

Nice to Have

• Experience in finance, accounting, controlling or financial operations
• Experience working with external payroll providers
• Experience in a multinational company or Shared Service Center environment
• Interest in automation, AI tools and practical digital solutions for payroll processes
