Objective of the position:
The Material Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring the work standards and correct tools definition required to build our product, assuring safety in the operation, quality in the station and on-time delivery based on production rate.
Is also responsible for the analysis and coordination of the engineering changes applied to the product and assures the readiness of the tooling and process on the productive areas to receive such as changes, always in compliance with safety, environmental and ethics standards.
This position is a very important support to the operative units and has the knowledge and skills to coordinate and execute innovative solutions to the problems that people face daily on the productive stations and are constantly involved in projects to improve the current process.
Indispensable Requirements (Candidates who do not meet these requirements may be discarded):
- Supply Chain Management: Proficiency in planning, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
- Lean Manufacturing: Application of tools like Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify and eliminate waste in material flow and cycle times.
- ERP Systems and Software Proficiency: Mastery of platforms like SAP or Oracle, alongside data analysis and simulation tools (Power BI, advanced Excel).
- Workstation and Flow Design: Ability to optimize plant layout and minimize unnecessary movements of raw materials and finished goods.
- Inbound and Outbound Logistics: Synchronizing the supply chain with production lines to ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery.
- Project Management: Leading continuous improvement initiatives, new product launches, or warehouse restructuring.
- English level: B1
- Spanish level: C2

Main Functions:
- Coordinate the establishment and optimization of production processes (standard work instructions) for current products, for new products, and/or product engineering changes, ensuring the implementation of a lean process, assuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate, select, define (or design), acquire, improve and define sustainability process for assembly devices (fixtures, templates, gauges, mobile equipment) and tools (electrical, controlled torque and / or manual) for new operations of the assembly production lines, to guarantee the quality in the product.
- Coordinate and assuring the continuous improvement by introducing new technologies to increase efficiency of the production processes that the operation demands, to guarantee product quality and delivery.
- Coordinate along with logistics the changes in shop broadcast to keep all production areas updated, define materials location in the production line and provide the control means to handle them better.
- Constant communication with OU's and SU's customers to assure customers a costumer experience and successful implementation of projects assuring the contributions for the main KPIs of the plant.
