Description
Overview
The Learning & Development Facilitator is a high-impact role with significant exposure across the firm. You’ll facilitate across a broad range of audiences, from summer interns and early-career employees to experienced managers and senior leaders. You’ll be equally comfortable leading a student program in the morning and facilitating a leadership development session in the afternoon, adapting your approach and presence to meet the needs of each audience. You can build a program from the ground up or quickly learn and deliver curriculum developed by someone else, making it relevant, engaging, and practical. Success in this role requires the credibility and confidence to engage smart, highly analytical audiences across technology, trading, and operations, including senior leaders who will ask challenging questions and expect thoughtful, practical answers.
This is a generalist L&D role that blends facilitation, instructional design, and program delivery, rather than a traditional client-facing L&D consulting position. You won’t own a dedicated business-group relationship. Instead, you’ll be a core member of the L&D team, collaborating closely with colleagues globally to deliver a shared internal curriculum. Some programs will be your own design, while others will be developed by colleagues or sourced externally, and you’ll be expected to deliver all of them with the same level of confidence and quality. You’ll also serve as the primary professional development point of contact for trading interns and junior traders, giving you an ongoing relationship with that population while continuing to support development across career stages, including management and leadership programming.
In this role, you will:
Facilitate Across a Wide Range of Audiences
- Deliver engaging, high-quality facilitation across student and intern programs, early-career and professional development curricula, and management development sessions.
- Confidently engage intelligent, opinionated participants across technical and business functions, responding effectively to challenging questions and adapting in the moment.
- Build credibility and trust quickly with participants at every career stage and across departments.
Design and Develop Training Content
- Design instructionally sound learning modules and training content for a fast-paced, dynamic organization where employees have limited time.
- Develop practical, relevant content grounded in real business scenarios and evidence rather than generic theory.
- Create facilitator guides, participant materials, activities, and assessments that support consistent, repeatable delivery.
Build eLearning and Blended Learning Solutions
- Design and develop eLearning modules and other digital learning assets using standard authoring tools.
- Blend live facilitation with self-paced and digital learning components to create cohesive learning experiences.
- Maintain and refresh existing eLearning content as programs and business needs evolve.
Own Delivery of a Shared Internal Curriculum
- Take ownership of internal training content, whether developed independently, created by L&D colleagues, or sourced externally.
- Learn new content quickly and deliver it with the same confidence, command, and polish as content you have developed yourself.
- Partner with L&D colleagues to continuously refine and improve programs based on participant feedback and outcomes.
Partner Across the Business and Global L&D Team
- Build and maintain credibility across a range of departments, including technology, trading, and operations, developing enough understanding of each function to make learning relevant and practical.
- Collaborate closely with L&D colleagues across regions to share content, coordinate delivery, and ensure programs remain aligned with global frameworks and standards.

What we’re looking for
- 6–8 years of experience in corporate training, facilitation, or Learning & Development. A formal instructional design certification is not required.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate confidently and effectively across diverse audiences, from interns and early-career employees to experienced professionals and managers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the presence and credibility to engage participants with varied learning styles in a fast-paced environment.
- A practical, analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose what a learning solution needs to accomplish rather than simply following a standard template.
- Hands-on experience designing training content and applying sound instructional design practices.
- Experience creating eLearning modules using authoring tools such as Articulate Rise or similar platforms, strongly preferred.
- Experience designing or delivering scenario-based, experiential, and case study-based learning.
- Ability to build credibility across diverse business functions, such as technology, trading, and operations.
- Comfort both creating original content and learning and delivering curricula developed by others.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a global L&D team, including sharing content and coordinating delivery across regions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and audiences simultaneously.
- A generalist mindset, energized by working across a variety of topics and audiences rather than supporting a single client group.
