What You’ll Do
- Maintain the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the community.
- Troubleshoot and complete a variety of resident service requests with a focus on timely, professional, and high-quality service.
- Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Perform hands-on maintenance in areas including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, pools, and building exteriors.
- Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor and property team to identify maintenance needs and keep the community operating at its best.
- Deliver a positive resident experience by taking pride in your work and helping create a community residents are proud to call home.
Requirements
What we need:
- A minimum of 2 years in multifamily apartment maintenance
- Knowledge and experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors and appliances
- Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships
- Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization when accomplishing tasks
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on -call hours
Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- EPA certification (or willingness to obtain) and substantial experience in making HVAC related repairs
