[LTA-FIN] MANAGER, ASSETS SERVICES (1-YEAR TEMPORARY CONTRACT)

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who enjoys solving problems, improving how things work and taking issues from diagnosis through to implementation.

Joining our Asset Services Division, you will lead a range of initiatives to review and enhance asset accounting and management practices, including processes, controls, policies and operational frameworks. You will drive these initiatives from current-state assessment and solution development through to stakeholder engagement and implementation.

[What you will be working on]

Asset Accounting, Management & Process Improvement

You will lead initiatives to review and enhance asset accounting and management practices, including asset capitalisation, write-off, and confirmation processes. This includes assessing existing practices, resolving accounting and operational issues, and developing improvements to processes and controls. You will work with finance, project teams, and other stakeholders to develop practical solutions and drive their implementation.

Policy & Framework Development

You will lead the development and operationalisation of policies and frameworks for asset accounting and management. This includes researching and assessing existing practices and requirements, developing policy proposals, engaging MOT and other stakeholders, and translating agreed positions into practical approaches for implementation.

Process Governance & Documentation

You will review and enhance SOPs, guidelines and process documentation to ensure that they remain current, practical and aligned with accounting, policy and operational requirements. You will work with stakeholders to establish/communicate agreed practices and translate these into clear and sustainable processes.

Operational Support

As process improvements are developed and implemented, you will also support key asset accounting and management activities during peak periods. This will provide hands-on exposure to the underlying processes and help ensure that improvements are practical and effectively implemented.

  • Meticulous with numbers and competent in Microsoft Office applications.
