Overview

Our client is a leading operator of mission-critical infrastructure in Hong Kong. They are seeking a Data Centre Operator to support round-the-clock operations and ensure the smooth running of data centre facilities and IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates who are interested in data centre operations, infrastructure support and working in a highly stable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor data centre infrastructure, systems, environmental controls and alarms on a 24x7 shift basis.
• Perform routine operational checks, equipment inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Respond to incidents, system alerts and service requests, escalating issues according to operational procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and engineers to support maintenance, installations and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, incident records and shift handover documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in data centre operations, technical support, NOC, IT operations or a related environment.
• Knowledge of server hardware, network infrastructure, operating systems or data centre facilities is an advantage.
• Willingness to work rotating 24x7 shifts, including overnight, weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese, with a responsible and detail-oriented attitude.
