Description
A growing life-science analytical-instrumentation company is seeking a North America Field Applications Manager based in the Greater Boston area or San Francisco Bay Area. This field-based leader will guide an applications team supporting products used by drug-development organizations and will help expand customer adoption and technical success.
The manager will lead technical solutions for customer challenges, provide product feedback, oversee demonstrations, installations, instrument qualification, customer training and front-line support, and partner with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates need an MS in biochemistry or a related scientific field, 3-4+ years as a Field Application Scientist or Senior Field Application Scientist or 1-2 years in related technical leadership, biological-assay design experience, protein-stability applications experience, and availability for up to 50% overnight travel; a PhD is preferred.
