What You'll Be Doing
This position supports the Director of Capital Projects in the construction of the Town’s capital construction projects. This senior leadership position in the Department of Capital Projects is responsible for overseeing professional engineering and administrative work needed to construct Town capital projects. Key aspects of the job include working with various Town departments to construct projects to meet specific capital project needs, reviewing capital project expenditures, and monitoring contractor work to assure compliance with design and engineering standards.

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in civil engineering and construction, construction contract administration, construction inspection, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of management/supervisory responsibility
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Virginia Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Master’s degree in construction management, public administration, engineering management or related field
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
