In this role, you will lead and contribute to the design, development, and validation of electronics hardware, while ensuring effective hardware–software interaction and system-level performance for applications such as electromagnetic / electromechanical clutches, actuators, and integrated modules used in hybrid and electrified drivetrains.
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
1. Electronics Hardware Development
Design and develop automotive-grade electronics hardware for actuators and mechatronic systems.
Develop analog/digital circuits including power supply, sensing, protection, and communication interfaces.
Define schematics, component selection, and support PCB layout.
2. Control & Software Interaction
Collaborate with control/software engineers on hardware–software co-design.
Support signal definition, debugging, and system bring-up.
Participate in system-level debugging including control logic and sensors.
3. System Engineering & Integration
Define system requirements and translate into electronics/control specifications.
Develop architecture diagrams and interface definitions.
Ensure integration across mechanical, electronics, and control domains.
4. Validation & Verification
Define and execute DV/PV testing.
Support EMC, environmental, and reliability testing.
Perform root cause analysis and design improvement.
5. Prototype & Production Support
