Salary Range $64,469 - $80,586*

What This Position is All About

The Specialist, Events and Experiences is responsible for supporting the creation and execution of Saks Fifth Avenue's event strategy, maximizing exposure for Saks Fifth Avenue in the local marketplace, and effectively acting as a liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue's Merchant Team, vendor community and all Saks Fifth Avenue retail stores.

• You are an innovative, detail oriented professional with strong planning, implementation and execution skills.

• You have strong partnership skills for use in both internal and external communities to develop and execute all event marketing programs.

• You are a creative and "out-of-the-box" thinker when it comes to developing new and unique event ideas that differentiate Saks Fifth Avenue.

You Also Have:

• 4-year college degree (Marketing, Business or Communications preferred) or equivalent experience.

• 3-4 years relevant event experience in fashion, entertainment or retail industries.

• Strong skills in Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Google Docs.

As The Specialist, Events and Experiences, You Will:

• Coordinate and manage events across all Saks Fifth Avenue doors, and conduct the analysis and results review for recommendations for future events.

• Assist with planning and execution of new store openings and major renovations

• Support event planning and logistics including store communication, creation/communication of turnkey event formats & event directives, budget and recap process.

•  Execute marquee events to include invitation development, décor design and show production in all Saks full-line stores.

• Manage event budgets and seasonal vendor chargebacks for events for all Saks full-line stores.

• Assist with national initiatives including focus weeks, brand launches, and holiday activations.

• Proactively analyze event results in order to refine and improve future events which continue to develop business opportunities and maximize sales.

• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
