The property offers 73 guest rooms and 12 single-level penthouse residences, all with sweeping views of Idaho’s Rocky Mountains. Overview
We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor for our café. This person acts as the Manager on Duty when the manager is absent. To be successful in this role you’ll manage day-to-day operations, which includes verifying that the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the guests daily, maintaining the operating budget, and verifying that standards and legal obligations are followed. Additional responsibilities include developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work, with specific focus on daily checklists, guest comment card review and compliance.
The F&B Supervisor will also assist the Barista/Cashiers and Servers, if necessary, in taking orders, running food, clearing/cleaning tables, and greeting/seating guests.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the ordering of Food and Beverage (F&B) supplies, coffee/beverage ordering, cleaning supplies and uniforms.
- Supervises daily F&B shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures.
- Supports and supervises an effective monthly self-inspection program.
- Operates all department equipment as necessary and reports malfunction.
- Supervises staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met.
- Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Check staffing levels and ensure all employees are in uniform and on time.
- Monitor the staff and ensure all guests are being cared for during their visit.
- Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service.
- Coordinates cleaning program in all F&B areas (e.g., General clean), identifying trends and making recommendations for improvements.
- Support the Barista/Cashiers and Servers, if necessary, in taking orders, running food, clearing/cleaning tables, and greeting/seating guests.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of kitchen management experience
Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and all holidays
