Job Description

As a Security Officer X Ray Patrol in Concord, NC at Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
