Role Overview
The Supply Chain Senior Manager is responsible for leading the organization's end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from sourcing through distribution. This role drives demand planning, procurement, importation, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management to optimize product availability, operational efficiency, and working capital while supporting business growth across a large multi-branch network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, warehousing, demand planning, inventory management, importation, or related functions.
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial, department head, or senior management role.
- Proven experience within large-scale retail, distribution, automotive, motorcycle, FMCG, or consumer goods organizations with extensive branch or warehouse operations.
- Strong background in leading the end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, supplier management, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, importation, customs coordination, freight management, and landed cost optimization.
- Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiations, procurement governance, contract management, inventory optimization, and working capital management.
- Experience managing multiple warehouses and distribution centers supporting a geographically dispersed branch network.
- Proficient in ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and supply chain planning solutions.
- Experience supporting a large-scale or billion-peso business operation is highly preferred.
- Willing to travel regularly to warehouses, suppliers, ports, and branch locations as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's overall supply chain strategy to improve operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and service levels.
- Lead demand forecasting, supply planning, procurement, replenishment, and inventory allocation to ensure optimal product availability across all locations.
- Oversee local and international sourcing activities, including importation, customs coordination, freight management, and landed cost optimization.
- Manage warehouse and distribution operations to ensure efficient storage, inventory accuracy, timely deliveries, and high service performance across a multi-site network.
- Drive initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, stock availability, warehouse productivity, logistics efficiency, and overall supply chain performance.
- Establish effective inventory control measures to minimize stock-outs, excess inventory, aging stock, shrinkage, and unnecessary working capital exposure.
- Lead supplier accreditation, contract negotiations, performance evaluation, and strategic sourcing initiatives to strengthen supplier partnerships and supply continuity.
- Facilitate the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by collaborating with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to align supply with business demand.
- Continuously improve supply chain systems, reporting dashboards, internal controls, business processes, and business continuity plans through data-driven initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, importation, and inventory management while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
