About the role:
Global Supply Chain Business Process Leads’ objective is to be the undisputed champion of the digital SC business processes enabling efficient, effective and compliant business operations while simplifying the complex with technology.
Incumbent leads global business process governance for SC business processes (Inventory management, business to business interfaces (3rd Party Logistics /4th Party Logistics), External warehousing, external contract manufacturing, supply network case management.) They collaborate with business functions and IT to integrate business processes into systems which create value for customers and patients
The Global Business Process Lead defines the core template for ERP system capabilities which includes the design of process flows, validation standards, data quality standards, change management guidance across GSC functions, Manufacturing and Local Selling organizations.
How you will contribute:
Business Process Ownership & Governance
Global Business Process Governance: Own the documentation and process flows for integration of Global Operating Procedures (GOP) into the system capabilities. Domains within scope are the end-to-end SAP Supply Chain Networks with a focus on Inventory Management, Partner Interfaces, 3rd Party Warehousing, External Manufacturing, and Subcontracting.
SC IT project implementation: Ensure the highest level of quality for the deployment of systems by adhering to best practices of software engineering. Serve as the authority and approver for business readiness
Capability Building
Training: Lead and support Community of Practice and creation and implementation of operational global training plans. Maintain learning materials within various systems (Veeva, Bloom, SC Academy)
Change Management: Lead the SC organization and LOCs to maximize employee adoption of key initiatives and operating model changes to increase value realization of system enhancements.
Supply Chain Architecture
GSC IT requirements: Collect & align requirements from GSC, Finance, and LOC functions for Supply Chain IT systems and align with Takeda IT; collaborate on system design to optimize business processes
Takami Project implementation: Contribute process knowledge to ensure a smooth transition in the transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S4Hana for domains of Inventory Management, Warehouse management, Partner Interfaces and Subcontracting Processes. Ensure robust documentation of process flows within SAP Signavio process manager module.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Operations Management or equivalent experience
Min 5 years of prior relevant experience with Supply Chain Organization / Supply Chain IT Organization and/or its key functions with solid understanding of end-to-end ERP processes, as well as internal controls.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading the integration of processes into an ERP system, such as JDE and/or SAP, with concentration on Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, and Subcontracting; preferably in the pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical industry
Experienced in interfacing EDI transactions with SAP systems, including knowledge of EDI mapping of the purchase order and advanced shipment notification transaction sets
Experienced in Change Management activities, including change impact assessments, business readiness assessments and communication.
Strong and impactful communication skills to manage stakeholders across levels & across functions
Strong ability to establish productive and collaborative relationships among multiple stakeholders from cross-functions
Strong accountability to prepare and execute work plans with ability to proactively identify and effectively address problems to achieve successful outcomes
Strong ability to reach decisions that balance the company objectives with key stakeholders’ needs while leveraging available resources to propose efficient and effective solutions.
