Job Profile Summary:
This position is responsible for looking for the best transportation alternatives in time, price, and quality for the different requests of the clients, giving the corresponding follow-up to the requests.Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and control of quotes for Pegasus corporate.
- Assist in the rate negotiation with global agents including the compiling of cost data.
- Maintain good communication with the internal and external clients.
- Advise on pricing to internal and external stakeholders.
- BID and RFQ supporting process for Pegasus corporate.
- Support in the solution of problems of potential or existing clients related to rates, transit times, routes, or carrier selection.
- Comply with the response times of the quotes and RFQs established by Pegasus Corporate.
- Collaborate with the attainment of goals established by the corporation.
- Carry out the coordination of department priorities.
- Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- 2+ years of related experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in Spanish/English both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge in air and maritime cargo consolidation with international experience
- Basic knowledge of transportation management systems (CargoWise preferred)
- Pricing knowledge in international trade
- INCOTERM knowledge and advanced understanding
- Effective communication with internal and external customers
- Decision-making capacity
- Ability to work under pressure.

Physical Requirements:
- Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
- Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.

- The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
