Staff Accountant

OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team in a vital financial role. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.Support the month-end and year-end close processes.Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Proven experience in a similar financial role.Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Nice to haveExperience with non-profit accounting.Knowledge of tax regulations.Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
