About Nteractive
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for selling a full portfolio solution of in-person, digital and content sponsorships by developing strategic relationships with sponsor accounts to achieve long term, high value relationships for our clients.
They will be responsible for achieving and exceeding assigned quotas across a volume of accounts, segmented by channel as well as providing seamless end-to-end orchestration across events. Understanding both sponsor and client objectives and business needs and being proactive in identifying and driving cross-sell/upsell opportunities to meet these needs, ultimately driving revenue growth and revenue retention.
They will provide high level reporting and accurate regular forecast as well as produce sales proposals. This role will work collaboratively with the client, vendors and colleagues to provide a seamless, high-quality service and exceptional client experience throughout the sales process and beyond.
What you'll be doing
- Achieving and exceeding assigned quota, across a volume of accounts
- Accurate and regular sales forecasting as well as daily CRM maintenance
- Build strong relationships with our sponsors to understand their needs
- Provide guidance to support sponsor G2M strategies using events
- Manage client communications, sharing and articulating sales materials, prospectus and sponsorship information, outlining opportunities and benefits.
- Proactively collaborate with colleagues to design additional custom, profitable and relevant experiences for sponsors to invest in
- Become sought-after of “voice of the sponsor” influencing the client’s, events teams to think “sponsor first” in an integrated manner that enhances the attendee experience
- Where appropriate, lead and manage project teams providing day to day guidance and support as required
What you will bring
In this role you should have the following experience.
- Significant experience of working in Sponsorship Sales as an Account Manager in a similar size event agency
- Proven experience of regular and accurate forecasting and sales opportunity tracking
- Proven project management skills at a senior level, running multiple projects to deadlines and budget
- Proven experience of developing sponsorship packages
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience of contract management
- Proven excel skills at advanced level and sound ICT skills in general
- Experience of generating, qualifying and closing opportunities
- Strong inter-personal skills to develop effective relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively and respect the views of others
- Highly motivated and passionate with a can-do approach to finding solutions and delivering customer service
- Strong, persuasive communicator both written and verbally
- Excellent customer service skills and client focus
- Strong diplomacy and negotiating skills
- Highly organized with good attention to detail
- Ability to work at pace and under pressure
- Quiet home environment from which to work (although the successful candidate may be required to be office based and have the ability to travel to the office to aid team collaboration or meet client needs).
- Minimum of 25MB download and 2MB upload speed for home broadband capacity to meet Nteractive homeworking business requirements.
