Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.

• Assist with the month-end close process.

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

• Support financial reporting and other recurring accounting activities.

• Assist with audits and special accounting projects as needed.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• One to three years of accounting experience preferred, but motivated recent graduates with strong internships or relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger accounting.

• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or accounting software is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• A desire to learn, grow, and advance into a Senior Accountant position.
