Position: Customer Service Associate – Critical Products Location: Cary, Illinois
Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a 75+ year reputation for engineering excellence. Our high-performance magnetic components serve customers across telecommunications, computing, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to support our Critical Products group. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, ensuring orders, quotes, and returns are processed accurately while delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.
About the Role and Your Impact
- Process customer orders, quotes, returns, and related transactions accurately and efficiently
- Respond to customer questions and resolve issues professionally and courteously
- Communicate daily with customers and internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Perform required customer verifications and maintain accurate records
- Escalate customer concerns when appropriate to ensure prompt resolution
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting individual and team performance goals
- Present a professional image in all interactions with customers and vendors
- Support a collaborative, customer-focused team environment
Who We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on commitments
- Professional, diplomatic approach to resolving customer concerns
Preferred Skills
- Manufacturing or industrial customer service experience
- Experience processing orders, quotes, or returns
- ERP or order management system experience
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
