The Role:
The product quality assurance engineer will lead a full reliability qualification, review engineering design, represent consumer interests/need to develop and improve quality test procedures.
PQA Engineer needs to lead quality validation before, during, and after the product development cycle. The individual will be responsible for researching and defining product qualification, reliability test processes. They will review design architectures, schematics, assemblies, and user cases. They will summarize product field performance to drive improvements to future product designs. They will investigate and address product concerns including field failures, environmental issues, and safety concerns for HID products such as mouse, keyboard, presenter, tablet and gaming products that use traditional and wireless technologies. They will also generate test plans, and perform hands-on testing of these products. This position demands a professional with experience in a fast-paced, high technology environment with proven project management capabilities and the desire to provide leadership while driving team initiatives.

● Prepare reliability test requirements and documentation
● Perform hands on test and qualification
● Research and implement reliability test requirements for new features and technologies
● Provide field performance feedback to Engineering and Marketing for further improvement.
● Manage product improvements through coordination of communication with Electrical, Mechanical, Factories, and Quality teams
● Product test plan development and implementation
● Evaluate, comment, and influence the best possible “user experience” for products
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
● Works on an intermediate or sustaining projects or quality issues requiring a basic technical or industry knowledge.
● Work on some of the complex projects or issues under limited/moderated supervision.
● Works with ODM factories requiring a basic ODM management knowledge and a factory quality assurance knowledge.
● Good writing and intermediate verbal communication skills in English.
● Basic knowledge of quality systems, reliability measures, and design margin.
● Ability to perform “hands-on” product testing and failure analysis.
● Ability to support and cooperate with cross-functional team - basic project management and reporting responsibilities.
● Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
● Operates well within a team and independent environments with limited supervision.
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
● Mouse, Keyboard and Tablet product QA background is a plus.
● Familiarity with international and certification standards is a plus.
● Project Management skills is a plus.
● Data/statistical analysis skills relevant to QA (Excel, Minitab…etc.) is a plus.
Education:
● An educational degree (Bachelors) in an engineering field with a minimum 3 years’ experience (or the equivalent)
