What you’ll do:
The Module Leader is responsible of Module Road Maps definition in alignment with Architecture and Platform Road Map and business generation plans ensuring compliance to consumer needs and technological trends. Responsibilities include leading R&D Team for engineering and material definition related to new components, ensuring the modules functionality, reliability, cost, standardization, IP protection, in line with product specification.
Furthermore, Module Leader has to ensure support to Architecture/Platform Leader for BU, EAx and expenses (OPEX) support the Product Care team in cost and quality improvement activities
In detail, you will:
- Govern Module development, promoting collaboration with internal R&D functions and interface with relevant external departments, including Design, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Cost Excellence
- Establish & maintain active collaboration with external partners & suppliers
- Lead R&D Team, responsible for development of new components, assy, variants and their maintenance, ensuring documentation (3D models, 2D Drawings, CSS, AAR, DG, CP documentation) needed for PD, respecting timing & requirements
- Support TM definition in agreement w/ other R&D functions
- Support the Architecture Road Map, TRM, and attributes
- Support project management on project timing definition (related module components), DFMEA, PSRA, DFMA, DVT, MVT
- Ensure that module deployment consider Architecture/Platform extension and regional needs (regulation, compliance), supporting democratization and new variant creation
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).
Who you are:
- Education to MSc level or beyond in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Strong background and 10+ years’ experience in product development position
- Project/Program Management experience
- Good interpersonal and cross-cultural skills on all levels
- Solid level knowledge of project management
- Project Management skills
- Clear and effective communication skills to drive technical conversations with R&D community & other functions
- Network-oriented, capable of forming productive business relationships and leadership by influence
- Advanced English
