This Position reports to:

Accounting & Reporting Manager - General Accounting

 

Main Accountabilities::

    Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions
Ø Performing reconciliations of accounts and get to details for any discrepancies
Ø Performing accounting related analysis and generate reports to support finance Queries
Ø Performing month end book closing and reporting activities
Ø Assisting team leader during the audits
Ø Performing such other activities as required to meet the Stake Holders requirement

Dimensions::

Ø Process scope: general accounting activities, process governance and process
improvement tasks
Ø Business coverage: All Divisions
Ø Geographical coverage: Global
Ø Roadmap: Ability to perform root cause & remedials, coordinate with Global Hub for any
overlaps, process improvements
Ø Team Size:  Individual Role

Knowledge, Skills and Experience::

Ø Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent work experience.
Ø Minimum of 5 to 8 years operational experience in General Accounting.
Ø A proven team player, in a similar or a higher sized team
Ø Ability to train / coach/ guide other
Ø Expertise in the end-to-end R2R Process, involving Intra-Group area
Ø A working knowledge of SAP
