Solve by Talent is partnering with the University of Sydney to recruit a Senior ICT Business Partner – Advancement & Engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside senior stakeholders across the University's Advancement & Engagement portfolio, helping to optimise key enterprise platforms and deliver technology solutions that strengthen alumni engagement, philanthropy and community partnerships.

The Opportunity 

As the Senior ICT Business Partner - Advancement & Engagement, you'll

serve as the trusted technology advisor for two very strategic University portfolios. 

Working closely with stakeholders across the University’s Advancement and External Engagement portfolios, with responsibility for supporting their strategic priorities, understanding their digital roadmaps, and helping deliver the initiatives needed to achieve them. 

You'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing enterprise platforms including Salesforce and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), while managing strategic  ICT demand, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and partnering with delivery teams to ensure technology investments align with business objectives. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic business partnering with modern enterprise technology in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

What you'll do 

  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the Advancement & External Engagement portfolios.  

  • Act as the primary ICT advisor, aligning technology initiatives with business priorities.  

  • Support and optimise enterprise platforms including Salesforce and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).  

  • Capture, prioritise and manage business demand through ICT governance processes.  

  • Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.  

  • Identify opportunities to improve digital capability, processes and customer experience.  

  • Partner with ICT delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of technology initiatives.  

  • Contribute to continuous improvement across systems, services and stakeholder engagement.  

What we're looking for 

  • Demonstrated experience as an ICT Business Partner, Technology Business Partner or similar stakeholder-facing role.  

  • Strong experience working with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and/or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ideally supporting Advancement, fundraising, alumni engagement or customer engagement functions.

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in complex organisations.  

  • Experience balancing strategic planning with operational delivery.  

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar demand management platforms.  

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration tools.  

  • Demonstrated CRM experience will be highly regarded, together with a strong understanding of digital engagement technologies. 

  • Experience within Higher Education, Government, consulting or other large, complex organisations will be highly regarded.  

  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI-enabled business solutions, will be advantageous
