About This Job

We are seeking a talented and experienced OutSystems Developer to lead the front-end development of our fintech platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OutSystems development, with proven experience in integrating with complex APIs and SQL databases. You will be responsible for building and optimizing the front-end interface of our clearing, custody, settlements, trading, and wealth management applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Additionally, you will work on migrating and integrating certain components from React, requiring a good understanding of both OutSystems and React frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-End Development in OutSystems:

  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using the OutSystems platform.

  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application interface.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

• API and Database Integration:

  • Integrate front-end components with backend services via RESTful APIs.

  • Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless data exchange and functionality.

  • Understand and implement best practices for interacting with SQL databases.

• React Integration and Migration:

  • Migrate certain components from existing React applications to OutSystems.

  • Ensure compatibility and integration between OutSystems and React components.

  • Address any technical challenges arising from the integration process.

• Quality Assurance and Optimization:

  • Conduct thorough testing to identify bugs and improve application performance.

  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Document code consistently throughout the development process.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 3-6 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on OutSystems.

  • Proficiency in OutSystems development, including Web and Mobile applications.

• Integration Skills:

  • Experience with RESTful API integration.

  • Solid understanding of SQL databases and ability to interact with them effectively.

  • Familiarity with React and the ability to work with React components.

• Fintech Industry Knowledge:

  • Prior experience in the fintech sector, particularly in securities processing, is highly desirable.

  • Understanding of financial services and compliance requirements.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
