What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

• Be a key contact for the leaders and colleagues at site for all People Experience (PX) related queries, even when the activity is managed by another PX function
• Work closely and take direction from the People Experience Lead for the manufacturing site to ensure all PX related activities are undertaken
• Support the enterprise bargaining activities for the enterprise agreements which cover site colleagues
• Apply skills and knowledge moderately complex problems independently
• Review and seek feedback on your work and exercise judgment based on experience
• Maintain records, administer various programs relevant to colleagues and conduct colleague and leader sessions when required
• Champion colleague engagement initiatives and support globally asked activities at the site
• Facilitate process improvement, introduce new concepts, and coach leaders on PX processes and tools
• Oversee performance management and talent reviews, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
• Collaborate with HR areas to implement business initiatives and foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement
• Support recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and compensation activities, staying updated on labor laws and advising managers on personnel issues

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

• Experience working within the human resources function of a multi-national organization
• Experience in managing employee relations and union relations at a manufacturing site
• Ability to coach and build strong relationships with diverse individuals across the organization
• Demonstrated experience in managing change initiatives in partnership with the business
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
• Extensive knowledge of effective HR procedures and policies
• Excellent consulting skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Understanding and integration of both internal and external business drivers
• Knowledge of financial metrics to drive talent outcomes for the business
• Proven track record of promoting employee value proposition
• High level of emotional intelligence and adaptability
• Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
