Associate Business Process Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The candidate will work with business stakeholders, functional teams, and IT teams to understand business requirements, document processes, support system enhancements, and assist in testing and implementation of business solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, an interest in the Oil & Gas industry, and the ability to understand business processes and translate them into clear requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct discussions with business users to gather and clarify requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.
• Maintain requirement traceability and project documentation.
• Participate in meetings with business and technical teams and provide clear status updates.
• Develop an understanding of Oil & Gas business processes such as exploration, drilling, production, maintenance, supply chain, inventory, procurement, and field operations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Basic understanding of business processes and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to prepare clear documentation and process flows.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Good presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of ERP/EAM applications such as SAP, Maximo, or similar systems.
